Mikael Sarkozi

Director
McRae's Environmental Services Ltd

Originally from Sweden, Mikael (pronounced Michael) spent a few years moving around Europe after completing his mandatory military service, before finally settling in Canada in 2003.

Originally landing in BC, this is his second time living in Alberta. The blue sky and sunny white winters reminding him of home brought him back to this province, but he stays for the love of our growing industries and the innovations that come with it.

Having worked as a correctional officer, he is now branch manager of a local Hydrovac and Vac truck company servicing the Fort Saskatchewan region. And it is from that role that he wants to contribute to the health and sustainable growth of our industries by advocating for them though the Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont County Chamber of Commerce.

Dividing his time between family, work and the gym, Mikael says one day he hopes to put some more miles on one of his motorcycles again (time permitting).
