Committees

Our Chamber committees bring together community members, business leaders, and subject-matter experts to help shape the direction of our organization and strengthen our region. Committees are open to the public, though we strongly encourage Chamber members to get involved. Year-round committees meet monthly, while event-focused committees operate only in the months leading up to their respective events.

Policy Committee

Meets monthly to review emerging issues, explore advocacy priorities, and support the Chamber’s role as a strong voice for the business community.

Governance Committee

Meets monthly to review Chamber policies, oversee committee structures, guide strategic planning, and support preparations for the AGM.

Trade Show Revamp Committee

A short-term, event-focused committee that will focus on modernizing, reimagining, and/or redesigning the format of the Trade Show for its return in 2027.

Women in Business Committee

Meets monthly to plan programming, strengthen connections, and support initiatives that empower women in our regional business community.

Business Awards Committee

A seasonal committee that meets in the months leading up to the Business Awards to design the program, refine criteria, and support event planning.

Santa Claus Parade Committee

A seasonal committee active prior to the annual parade, helping plan logistics, entertainment, and community participation.

Markets Committee (Spring, Summer & Christmas)

A seasonal committee that meets ahead of each market season to shape vendor recruitment, programming, layout, and overall event experience.
